Clever business model

Mr Somchai has a great restaurant. Casual, tasty meals are served every afternoon and evening. Mussamun curry, crispy pork, and huge pots of red, green, and dry curries are always on the menu.

Mr Somchai also runs a motorcycle and scooter repair shop. It’s most busy in the morning and early afternoon.

Mr Somchai believes in keeping his overhead down, so his 2 businesses are co-located. Both are clean and seem very professionally run.

Yum! (and vroom.)

Ps. I had green chicken curry – spicy and good. A nice sweat throughout the meal. Karin had mussamun – a bit sweet and milder. Max had a fried egg – crispy and delicious, with no surprises.

  1. It seems you can bring a lot of good business ideas home with you… Great to be updated of your thai life!

  2. It always amazes me when comparing what & where I eat (very comfortably, I might add) when travelling vis a vis when in N.A. Are you learning to cook Thai? I ask from a purely selfish reason.

How was Max’s field trip? I’m very curious about what he’d say about the temple…have you seen it? There can be a lot of neat things to see & hear depending on the temple. Xoxoxo Sent from my iPad

You both look beautiful, tanned and relaxed. Max will have that pink motorcycle, thank you very much! He looks happy too.
I found that Thai beaches have a particular smell, the raw egg, frying oil, curry of the restaurant mixed with the sand / sea. Looking at your pictures, I ca remember the smell.
We are at the beach at Birch Bay Washington., 20 minutes south of the Peace Arch crossing. The sand is grey, but there are a lot of birds.
    Keep on having fun!
    Love ,Maida
